Counseling and Career Services

Students are encouraged to meet with an Academic and/or Career Counselors in order to develop and refine educational plans and career goals. PCC Counselors are highly trained and experienced professionals who are also well-informed in many fields of study and who work closely with PCC instructional divisions in order to provide students with current information about course offerings, curriculum changes, and transfer requirements. Each Academic and Career Counselor is well-equipped to assist students in planning transfer-related coursework.

In addition to serving students in the Counseling Center, the Counseling Faculty offer a number of Counseling courses as part of the College’s curriculum. These courses include skill-building activities to enhance career planning, personal and professional development, study and time management skills, and strategies for problem-solving and decision making.
