Topics include vocabulary for medical visits and procedures, the role of the translator/interpreter within the multilingual U.S. health care system, and preparation required for state and national medical translator/interpreter certification. Fluency in English and another language is recommended. The Medical Translation and Interpretation Certificate of Completion is awarded upon passing both TRLN 1000 and TRLN 1001.
