This curriculum provides intensive English as a Second Language integrated instruction in reading, writing, listening and speaking to high literacy students to low beginning level students. The program prepares students to participate in simple conversations, complete basic forms and write simple sentences. It prepares students for the ESL Level 2 Program.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to evaluate information being presented and requested while participating in basic conversations about personal experiences.
- Students will be able to decipher basic print and predict or select responses to questions in text, forms or in oral discourse.
- Students will be able to formulate simple sentences based on personal experience or simple themes.
