4931.00The VESL Work Readiness and Communication Skills certificate program provides instruction in the English language and cultural skills needed to successfully obtain and maintain employment and achieve career success in the United States. Students will improve their listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, critical thinking and problem solving skills by engaging in a variety of hands-on learning activities as well as individual and team projects. The program is designed for individuals at ESLN Level 5 and above.
A Certificate of Competency will be awarded upon successful completion of all required courses.

- Model appropriate language and cultural skills for successfully applying for jobs, at the job search, application, and interview stages.
