Study of structural organization of the human body from cellular to organ system level of organization. Gross and microscopic anatomy of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, sensory, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, excretory, and reproductive systems of the human body. This course is primarily intended for nursing, allied health, kinesiology, and other health related majors. Total of 36 hours lecture and 108 hours laboratory.
Study of gross anatomy by dissection of a human cadaver with emphasis on musculature, brain, and organs of the thoracic and abdominal cavities. Total of 18 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
Anatomy, histology and embryology of the head and neck with emphasis on the structures of the oral cavity. Total of 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
