The curriculum is designed to assure that you understand the legal, economic, and social forces that shape the culinary and hospitality industries. It matches industry knowledge with practical need to prepare you for either immediate employment or educational advancement in as short as one semester.
The coursework emphasizes the importance of research, legal, communication, and technology that are so important in running a successful hospitality business.
The program guides you to embrace the hospitality values that create a transformational guest experience; to seek a pathway of strategic leadership founded on logical and ethical decision-making; and to evaluate one’s own transferable aptitudes toward high-achieving and positive team performance.
Students learn about strategy and leadership, how to think critically in challenging situations, and work both individually and in teams.
