Food Services

A selection of dining options is available campus-wide.

The ground floor of the Campus Center houses The Piazza Dining Room for students, faculty and staff. The Piazza serves made-to-order breakfasts, including a custom breakfast burrito bar. The Piazza offers an Italian Pasta Line and fresh pizza, savory calzones, Fast and Casual Asian Entrée line, a full service panini and deli sandwich counter, and The Daily Grill for burgers and more. A full line of popular beverages and bakery items are also in the Piazza. Cafe de Leche, located near The Shatford Library, offers coffees, selected cold beverages, and pastries. 

Full-service catering, from casual menu service to fine dining, is available for College functions and on-campus events.

Staging Services

Room C230, Sexson Auditorium

Staging Services supports students, academic programs, campus and community events by providing production, technical services and audio-visual support in district theaters and venues.

Staging Services provides services daily including weekends and evenings for Sexson Auditorium, Westerbeck Recital Hall, Creveling Lounge, Circadian, Harbeson Hall, Quad, CA Patio, and other large campus areas. Service requests are made using 25Live or by contacting Campus Use (626) 585-7233 or Staging Services (626) 585-7045.

Video Production Services  

Video Production Services is responsible for all College video productions. Services include the documentation of campus events, the production of accessible department and college promotional productions, educational, and tutorial digital content, and campus livestreams.

Bookstore

Your Pasadena City College Bookstore is the place for books (new and used), supplies, gifts, school spirit items, Lancerwear clothing, snacks, and more. Books and our other merchandise are available through our website: http://bookstore.pasadena.edu/ with ship-to-home and in-store pick-up options available. We now have many textbooks available to rent and also in digital format.  Financial Aid can be used to pay for books/materials in store and online where available.

Transportation and Parking

The College is located near downtown Pasadena and is easily accessible by car, bus or the Gold Line train. On-campus parking is limited and is available by purchasing a digital semester or daily permit.

Handicapped parking is available for people displaying a handicapped placard or handicapped license plates. Shuttle service is available every fifteen to thirty minutes for transportation between PCC (Lots 6, 7), Allen Station Gold Line, the Community Education Center, and the Rosemead Campus.

Bicycle parking racks are available throughout the campus for students and staff to secure their bicycles. Bicycles shall not be secured to any other objects on campus such as poles, fences, and trees. We strongly recommend utilizing a high-quality lock to secure your bicycle.

Pasadena City College Police Department

The Pasadena City College Police Department is staffed with sworn Police Officers. The Department operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, including holidays. The Department is located in the B Building (room B210). The Department is responsible for providing police services, enhancing safety, and enforcing traffic and parking laws. Students who have a concern for their safety while on campus are encouraged to contact the Department for assistance. Emergency telephones are located in all elevators, parking lots, and most buildings. Please do not hesitate to use these telephones if you have a concern for your safety.

The Department offers an escort service for students and staff from classrooms to vehicles.  Students and staff are encouraged to use this available service.

The District’s crime awareness and crime statistics, otherwise known as the “Clery Report,” are available in the B Building, room B210 and can also be found online at CleryCrimeReport.

Parking Permits

All parking permits on campus are digital.

Digital semester parking permits for staff and students are available for purchase online through LancerPoint (www.pasadena.edu/studentservices/ and click on LancerPoint). Permits may be purchased  two to three weeks prior to the beginning of each semester/intersession. Students and visitors may also purchase digital daily parking permits for $2.00 a day from the parking permit machines located in every level of all parking lots. Lost and Found

Items found on campus may be turned in 24 hours a day to the Lost and Found in the Police Department in Room B210. You may notify Lost and Found that you have lost an item by filling out a brief form on the Lost and Found website at  https://pasadena.edu/police-and-college-safety/services/lost-and-found.php.  Office hours for inquiring about retrieving lost property are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Lost and Found Department actively tries to reunite lost items with their owners by using contact information provided in the Student Registration System. It is your responsibility to keep your contact information current and, if possible, on your property. Please put your name, phone, and/or email address on all of your property so it may be returned to you in a timely manner.

Smoking on Campus

The Pasadena Area Community College District Board of Trustees adopted Policy No. 5575 which prohibits smoking inside any District owned, or District occupied building or vehicle. The policy also prohibits outdoor smoking on District owned property.

Housing

The College maintains no dormitories and assumes no responsibility for off-campus student housing. Housing information is available in the Office of Student Life, located in the Campus Center, CC105.
