The ESLN Level 1 Certificate Program provides intensive English as a Second Language integrated instruction in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills and vocabulary development for low beginning ESL students. This program prepares students to effectively use oral and written communication skills in everyday life and work contexts. Emphasis is on preparing students to participate in simple conversations, complete basic forms and write simple sentences. It prepares students for the ESL Level 2 Program.
A Certificate of Competency is awarded upon completion of all required courses.
