Hands-on clinical experience in a Central Sterile Processing (CSP) department. Throughout this course the student will apply practical concepts related to surgical instrumentation assembly, decontamination, sterilization, storage and distribution. This course meets the requirement of 400 clock-hours needed to sit and prepare the student to pass the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) examination to pursue certification. Total of 414 laboratory hours.
